2023/2024 Student Council

The students of Cloneyhurke National School held their annual Student Council Elections on Friday 8th September 2023.  Students from Junior Infants to 6th Class interested in being a member of this years council gave a small speech to their school mates about why they would like to be on the council.

After the speeches where finished,  a secret ballot was held.  The students elected a pupil from Junior Infants to 6th Class to represent them the Student Council.

We look forward to hearing the ideas and input into our school community.

Our Student Council suggested and discussed with the teachers the possibility of using the pitch at break time on dry days for pupils.  The council members put forward a strong proposal and the staff agreed with their idea. Well done to our student council on working for their school community!
